Scott C. James grew up in Des Moines, Iowa. He
attended The University of Iowa and earned a bachelor’s
degree in Business Management, a minor in Spanish, and a
certificate in International Business in 2007. Scott
received his law degree from the University of Denver Sturm
College of Law in 2010. During law school, he interned for
the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission Division of
Enforcement, and participated in the Mediation and
Arbitration Clinic at the Sturm College of Law. Scott
joined the firm from a law clerk position with two judges at
the Arapahoe County District Court. He is admitted to
practice law in Colorado and Iowa. Outside of work, Scott
enjoys hiking, biking and traveling.
