Jacquelyn S. Booker grew up in St. Clair Shores, Michigan
and Slidell, Louisiana. She attended Louisiana State
University on a full academic scholarship and earned her
bachelor’s degree in political science in 1997 where she was
Vice President of Membership of Pi Gamma Epsilon Service
Organization, as well as a member of Alpha Lambda Delta and
Gamma Beta Phi organizations. As the Vice President of
Membership of Pi Gamma Epsilon Service Organization, Ms.
Booker organized charity and community service events
throughout the Baton Rouge metropolitan area.
Ms. Booker earned a law degree from the University of Denver
College of Law, 4th in her class, where she was a member of
the Student Law Office and the Order of St. Ives. Prior to
joining Sutton & Gulley, P.A., while attending law school
full-time, Ms. Booker worked as a law clerk at Dill Dill
Carr Stonbraker & Hutchings, P.C. and Legal Aid Society of
Metropolitan Denver. Ms. Booker is a member of the American,
Colorado and Arapahoe County Bar Associations, and the
Colorado Defense Lawyers Association. Her practice focuses
on insurance defense litigation.

INVOLVEMENT
Ms. Booker judges moot court events at
the high school level. She attends events sponsored by the
University of Denver College of Law and the Denver Claims
Association.
In her spare time, Ms. Booker enjoys reading historical
fiction, aerobics and outdoor activities. She and her
husband have two sons. She also enjoys participating
in the Denver Dumb Friends League annual “Furry Scurry” with
her family and two dogs.
